Peace on Earth
Henderson Clark´s transformation the Rec Hall uses ten and a half thousand Christmas Lights.
Henderson describes the space as both ‘calming and exciting’, it provides the set for communal celebrations; ‘we have a big event to switch on the lights and the hall is packed, a carol concert with the choir from South School, karaoke, sing alongs and a Christmas Dance’.
At other times it provides a sanctuary.. ‘people often sit and reminisce about their earliest memories of Christmas’.
